Rohr's practice explores identity, and the ways in which it is negotiated between individuals, communities, and across history. Working from life, Rohr directly engages his subjects through sittings, interviews and reportage-inflected projects. Currently based in South East Asia, he is investigating two distinct communities: Thai sex workers, and waste pickers living around the trash mountain of Bantargebang in Indonesia.
